The word Empyrean comes from ancient cosmology. It refers to the highest heaven—the realm of pure light and fire.
For us, it stands for elevated ideals. Craftsmanship. Travel. Longevity. Purpose. Products that rise above the ordinary.
Our story
A Flea Market Find That Started It All
It began with a leather bag from 1945.
Found at a small local flea market, it was worn, timeworn—but undeniably well-crafted. The kind of quality that whispers stories from another era. Holding it, we thought: This is what real sustainability looks like. Not synthetic. Not disposable. Just pure craftsmanship made to last a lifetime.
That moment sparked the idea for Empyrean.
Our journey led us far from that flea market—to the Zhejiang province of China, where we met Jiedy Zhi.
A passionate artisan and a kindred spirit. Together, we dreamed of a better kind of travel gear—sustainable, practical, and made with care.
